I had the most empowering experience this morning with Operation Valkyrie by Tactical Self Rescue! In a short period of time, I learned so many simple and effective basic defensive and offensive strikes and movements to escape from an attacker.
I highly recommend this 4 hour class to ALL women. There next class is on January 25th. If you have ever thought that you need to learn more about situational awareness and self-defense, this is the course for you! Plus I got to practice using pepper spray and a pepper spray gun.
Every woman's fear is to be raped. The simple and effective techniques I learned makes me more confident that I will be able to escape. I always thought that carrying pepper spray was a good idea but was afraid because I didn't know how to use it. I do now and I just ordered some to carry.

I participated in the Operation Valkyrie class and loved it! Matt is very knowledgeable about the info he shares, and he makes the class fun, too! It’s a hands on training which I found to be quite interesting, with tactics that anyone can use if you ever find yourself in a difficult situation. Situational awareness and self defense is something everyone should practice. Like Matt says, be ready not afraid!

I can't say enough about this class. I went from being TERRIFIED to hold a gun, to feeling comfortable, confident and well educated in safety and use. The instructors took their time and worked extensively with each participant and allowed them to learn at their own pace. Their patience and knowledge was top notch.

I was super impressed with TSR's Basic Pistol class. I've been shooting for several years, but as a busy working mom, I haven't focused my time on the range as much as I'd like. I picked up some great tips from Matt and his instructors! The classroom material taught by Kyle was great and informative, the class size was awesome and the shooting time was more than I expected! I will definitely be back for another class soon!

I am a police officer, combat vet, firearms instructor, and I own a range in Massachusetts. TSR contacted me to rent a space and range time to conduct a Basic Pistol Course. I had the privilege to sit down and watch the course. I have to say they had 4 firearm instructors at the class and each one had personal experience and was extremely knowledgeable with all types of handguns. If you already have your firearm permit and you want to feel more comfortable and ready for a possible critical incident or what to expect after a critical incident, I would definitely recommend TSR
