Walber Borrego, an expert in cyber awareness and law enforcement technology, brings a diverse and extensive background to his role at Tactical Self Rescue. Born in Puerto Rico, Walber's journey took him from the Bronx, New York, to Holyoke, Massachusetts, where he has made significant contributions to both military and civilian sectors.

Walber enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2001, serving his country with distinction until 2009. As a Military Police (MP) officer, he received comprehensive training in weapons use, troop movements, convoys, law enforcement, and the detention of prisoners of war. His exemplary service earned him the rank of Sergeant, and he was deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2006, where he gained invaluable experience in high-pressure environments.

In 2003, Walber began his parallel career in civilian law enforcement. Over his two decades of service, he has held various roles, including patrol officer and specialized instructor. He was selected as a Use of Force instructor and Taser instructor, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to officer training and safety. For the past several years, Walber has served as the Tech Services Officer, where he plays a crucial role in promoting and enhancing the police department's technological capabilities. His responsibilities include CJIS security, dispatch systems, departmental computer systems (both office and cruiser), and overall technology security.

Walber's passion for technology extends beyond his professional duties and into his daily life and hobbies. His enthusiasm and dedication to all forms of technology make him a valuable resource for Tactical Self Rescue.
